When school is out and summer begins, will your kids be home alone or bored? Need a place where they can interact with other kids and stay active? Looking for a safe space where they can continue learning and gain real life skills? If so, look no further than our Life Skills courses by Living Arrows!
Summer can be a challenging time for families when the kids are home for several weeks. Many parents are either working or looking for ways to be intentional with their kids' time off.
Coach Alvarez saw the need to create a fun place for students to connect over the summer, while also introducing them to new experiences and engaging challenges. From this intention, Camp Life Skills was founded!
Camp Life Skills is not just another summer camp, but courses focused on bringing Life Skills to life for each student. Camp Life Skills is geared toward children ages 5-12, with various abilities. There are no prerequisite skills necessary to attend. All courses are inclusive and are adapted for each student’s age level. The professional team behind Living Arrows recognizes that every child is unique and looks forward to connecting with each and every one!
What Sets us Apart?
What sets us apart is that we are deviating from standard summer child care services. We offer a program that is intentional about equipping the next generation with life skills and character values to make a difference in our world and community.
Our program is structured, with hands on learning, physical exercises, team building opportunities. We offer a schedule and manual for our jam packed program.
Working in the education field and serving in the community for over two decades has allowed Coach Alvarez to observe what is missing in other programs and schools. He desires to proactively instill these life skills and character values.
He have sought out high quality, certified, and experienced teachers. He have also enlisted passionate experts and community members to impart their wisdom to the kids in our courses. He also offers opportunities for older siblings to become Jr. counselors where they will be mentored in leadership skills.
In addition, 10% of all profits will go to local orphans. We are also working to provide an opportunity for our courses to be brought to them in the future.
Lastly you invest in my family; we are a local family-owned business. Our family is passionate about making a positive impact here in our community.
